福留 麻里 / Mari Fukutome

ダンサー・振付家。2001年より新鋪美佳と共に身長155cmダンスデュオほうほう堂として活動。独自のダンスの更新を試みる。2014年より個人活動開始。以来、劇場での作品発表、川原、公園、美術館、道など、様々な場所でのパフォーマンスやワークショップ、他分野の作家との共同制作などを継続的に行ない、いくつもの関係性とそのやりとりから生まれる感触や結 びつきや考えや動きを見つめ、紡いでいる。 最新作は、小さな記憶や物語の宿る媒体としての10秒前後の振付を採集し、思い出し忘れ変化し続ける作品「まとまらない身体と」。2019年より、毎日をからだで遊ぶための言葉のレシピプロジェクトもスタートし、「ひみつのからだレシピ」(BONUS木村覚との共同企画)、「からだあそびレシピー小さな地球のおまじない」(PLAY EARTH KIDSでのAokidとの共同連載)として展開。2020-2021年度セゾン・フェローⅠ。2020年より山口県在住。

Dancer and choreographer.
Since 2001, she had worked with Mika Arashiki as the 155cm tall dance duo “HOHO- DO” has presented works and held workshops in more than 20 cities in Japan and abroad, and strives to update her own dance style.

Started individual activities in 2014.
In addition to presenting works in theaters, she continuously performs and workshops in various places such as riverbeds, parks, museums, and streets, and collaborates with artists from other fields such as theater writers, poets, musicians, and contemporary artists.While exploring the beginnings of dance and the possibilities before it becomes dance, she dances with various places, situations, and people, and looks at and weaves together the sensations, thoughts, and movements that emerge from these dances.

Her latest work is “With my sprinkled bodies” (2021- /Yamaguchi,Tokyo,Yokohama) a dance project that collects choreographs of around 10 seconds as a medium for dwelling small memories and stories, and continues to remember, forget, and change.

She also explores ways of being and activities that are not limited to dance, and from 2019, She works on “Secret body recipe” (co-produced with Satoru Kimura of BONUS), a project of word recipes that play with the body on a daily basis, In 2022, she will start “Small Dance Club,” a collection of folk tales of movement, in which finds “small dances” in various movements that occur in daily life, such as the movement of a leaf in the wind or someone's casual gesture, and brings them together with their background. It works in Yamaguchi, Yokohama, online, Greece, and other places.

Curator of ST Spot “Labo 20#22” and “Whenever Wherever Festival” .She received a grant from the Saison Foundation for the 2020/2021 season. Lives and works in Yamaguchi prefecture from 2020, Athens, Greece in 2024.
